TESTIMONIALS

"You have helped me to find balance and set boundaries."

Thank you for helping me through a challenging time. I am struggling to find balance between career and family which is stressing me out. I strive to give 110% in all areas of my life and tend to put myself last which is affecting my health. You helped me realize that I need to take time for self-care. It is hard for me to take quality time for myself. I am learning to give myself permission to take time for me so I can feel better. The mindfulness practices are wonderful! They help lower my stress (headaches) and make me feel calm. Calm is something I have not felt in years. Yoga has also helped with relaxation. I know these practices help and I need to make them a habit. I continue to have many things going on that pull me in several directions. You have helped me identify and set attainable goals to find balance and set boundaries. You have given me tools to take time for myself which will ultimately improve my interactions with others and help me achieve my goals.

Thank you for praying with me as my faith is also key to my wellbeing.

I am blessed to have worked with you!

“Peter's insightful inquiry helped me be honest with myself about what was keeping me from pursuing the things I wanted to achieve. He helped me develop strategies to overcome limiting habits I had been struggling with for years. My coaching sessions with Peter have had a lasting impact because all the insights were earned through a kind of honest work that leads to a unique empowerment that I can’t help but continue to pursue.”

"Rhonda is a kind, caring and patient coach."

I began working with Rhonda with the goal of increasing my activity level and enhancing my overall health. Rhonda was very knowledgeable regarding a variety of health issues and able to provide helpful suggestions for nutrition and exercise. Rhonda is especially skilled in her ability to integrate yoga and meditation into the process of self care.

Rhonda is a kind, caring and patient coach, who held me accountable for my wellness goals. I would strongly recommend her to anyone seeking to improve their health and well-being!

"Your skills with breath work, yoga and Nurse Coaching would benefit anyone!"

Before working with you I was unorganized, stuck in seriousness and carried a mentality of shame all while struggling with my purpose.  The grief of losing my Son, being in an unhealthy work environment and struggling in my marriage was consuming me.  I was desperately seeking  relief and trying to find my way to fun.

I loved starting with mindfulness.  It was always on point with what I needed.  I appreciate that you introduced me to intentional breathing exercises and the science behind it.  You are very insightful and attentive.  You recognized that my body was tense and asked if we could add in yoga stretches to our session, that was very therapeutic.  You also incorporated perfectly appropriate guided meditations for the feeling/emotion/state I was experiencing.  I am very impressed with your ability to bring back to the present moment where we were able to explore deeply the areas in which I hadn't thought much through.  I think you are amazing!

I have found some fun.  I have been intentional about tapping into my creative side and being silly.  I like to dance and sing, just in my house while folding laundry or in my car while driving.  I have been doodling/drawing at least twice a week.  I reached out to a friend who plays piano and asked if I could sing with her sometime.  With the intention of volunteering at church as a cantor at Mass.   I have stopped binge watching TV and am spending that time preparing for the next day, reading, exercising, working my side gig and staying on target with my course work.  I have developed a sleep hygiene routine as well.   As a result of being organized, exercise, having more fun and developing a good sleep hygiene, I am experiencing a deeper rest through the night and more fulfilling awake time.

I am embracing that I do not need to carry shame for what people at work "think of me".  You helped me recognize the good I am doing within my job and that I do not need to feel guilty for being recognized in a positive light.  I am embracing the phrase "what ____ thinks of me is NONE of my Business" and I am standing strong in knowing my intentions are pure.  Also, I am letting go of trying to do all things and focusing of what is important right now and doing those things well.

I believe you have so many gifts to offer.  YES!  I would recommend you to people of all ages and backgrounds.  Your skills with breath work, yoga and Nurse Coaching would benefit anyone!  A definite opportunity for them to improve their Mind/Body/Spirit wellness.

Thank you for our time together! -A.D.

"Rhonda allowed me to feel 110% safe to be vulnerable and open up."

Our coaching sessions helped me to regain clarity on what was really important- self care/health and self-worth. Through our coaching sessions I have come to realize that a lot of my self-limiting beliefs actually stemmed from the idea that “ I am not worthy”.

Through this time that I have worked with Rhonda, we have together co-created a routine of self- care activities that I partake in daily (and still do) such as repeating mantras, daily yoga, and meditation practice in order to combat this limiting belief. By taking these small action steps on a daily basis, I feel like I have established a well rounded and healthy routine for my overall wellbeing.

I feel a better sense of clarity on the path before me now and have gained more ambition towards my goals, because I have done the work to fill up my own cup each and everyday, so that I may create and serve others through my paintings and art.

What I loved most about our coaching sessions was that Rhonda allowed me to feel 110% safe to be vulnerable and to open up about my personal life. I usually have a very difficult time opening up to people and divulging in my personal history, but I felt completely safe to do so in our sessions. I also loved that Rhonda took the time and energy to send me emails recapping the events of the session and highlighting the areas of fieldwork focus on for the remainder of that week. This was super helpful as a reminder to stay on track in developing healthier habits. Overall, I felt very well supported throughout the whole process.

I would recommend Rhonda to anyone that is looking to overcome their self-limiting beliefs and anyone looking to develop a healthier relationship with themselves mentally, physically, and spiritually, as well as anyone that is going through big transitions or life changing events; Rhonda has an amazing way of making you feel supported, and heard, and grounded throughout all of these changes, while simultaneously helping you take small action step towards your goals . I really enjoyed my time spent with her during these sessions. :)

"I recommend your coaching to anyone who would like to work on managing stress."

As a result of our mindfulness sessions, I feel more confident to not only participate in mindfulness with clients, but you've given me advice for improving my mindfulness even more. With help from your encouragement, I've reached out to an administrator at our hospital to see if there is an opportunity to start a facility-wide offering for teammates. I'm anxiously waiting to hear back from him!

I would recommend your coaching to anyone who would like to work on managing stress and who is working to navigate through a difficult time. I think your mindfulness and demeanor will have a great positive impact on them.

"By the end of each session, I always felt relaxed and rejuvenated with a new sense of inner strength."

When I started working with Rhonda for our mindfulness sessions, I had a lot going on in my life. From grieving an unexpected passing of a family member, managing the depths of my husbands mental health, and in the midst of changing the direction of my career; as well as being a full time working mother of 3 young kids.  Rhonda has such and ease and comfort to her and is well versed in many different forms of mindfulness. By the end of each session, I always felt relaxed and rejuvenated with a new sense of inner strength. I would recommend mindfulness sessions with Rhonda to anyone looking for a better sense of inner peace and strength.

"I appreciated your sincere interest in my well-being."

I greatly enjoyed working with you. I appreciated your sincere interest in my well-being your listening skills, hearing what I was saying and trying to go beyond my words to thoughts or feelings behind them which I did not directly state (and of which may not have been fully aware). I most appreciated the questions that tried to get beyond what I was saying. Your observation that I wanted to have a purpose was significant and something I want to keep in my consciousness as I continue to determine my goals and how to achieve them.

I would recommend you to anyone who is interested in a holistic version of wellness — body, mind, spirit — who is willing to take small, concrete steps to reach the broader, more abstract goals of wellness and happiness.

"I would recommend Rhonda's coaching to anyone looking to improve their own wellbeing."

When I first met with Rhonda, I was feeling tired, stressed and overwhelmed with life in general. I was focusing a lot of time and energy on helping others without allowing time for myself or tending to my own needs. I was often anxious and frustrated over situations I really have no control over. Rhonda helped me to identify those situations and set boundaries for myself and others. She made me feel like it is ok for me to focus on myself and my own wellbeing. Since working with Rhonda, I find it easier to take my focus off the situations that I can not control. She has helped me to re-focus that negative energy into positive goals for myself by doing more of the things I enjoy doing with a new purpose. We repurposed my love of cooking into goals using healthy recipes, we discovered ways I could get more exercise while spending time with my grandson and playing with my dog. Rhonda taught me some new quick and easy stress relief exercises to help me focus and feel more rested. Rhonda has helped me realize that I don’t necessarily have to make big, extreme changes to feel better but rather committing time to the things I love to do with a new purpose has given me a outlook. Working with Rhonda allows me to set goals to be a better me and holds me accountable to myself. I enjoy working with Rhonda as she is knowledgeable and has a kind, gently way about her that makes it all feel easy. I know I can trust Rhonda and can be totally honest with her as she will never place judgment on my failures. On at least one occasion, her voice was so soothing during our stress relief exercises, I believe I fell asleep for a moment. The best part of that was to awake and open my eyes to Rhonda’s beautiful smile! I continue to focus on the insight Rhonda has provided me. I would recommend Rhonda’s coaching to anyone looking to get out of a funk, anyone looking to improve their own wellbeing. Words can not describe how Rhonda has helped the inner me but the smile on my face is a good indication of how she is affecting my life. Thank you Rhonda!

"You helped me to see my worth."

I have been struggling with weight gain for several decades and given my age it was time I made a real effort to change. I was also facing an empty house since my children are beginning to move away and I was struggling with this new change. How did I want the next phase of my life to look for me.

·       The coaching sessions were a huge help. You helped me focus in on separate issues and gave good ideas on what to focus on between our sessions in a kind way. The follow up emails kept me focused and I would think of them often during the week.

·       I had a wonderful experience. Much better than I expected. I was not sure what to expect and was not sure I would feel comfortable sharing as much as I did. You made me feel very comfortable and safe. You did not judge. You listened intently and always kept the focus on me and what my needs were. The sessions opened up things I hadn’t really thought were a concern but saw the connection and felt better about the things we worked on. I loved the positivity you brought to our meetings and your caring, calming nature. You made it easy to share and I felt heard and valued.

·       It felt good to talk with someone and voice my concerns. We all carry a lot with us, so it felt good to unload some of the burden. I think of you often and the goals we set. I am working on getting through all of them, but it is in a good way. Setting the goals each week was helpful but did not feel too bad when I didn’t achieve them all. Your patience was much appreciated.

·       I have learned to give myself some grace. I can’t do everything, so prioritizing helps. You helped me to see my worth with my family and work.

·       I would recommend you to everyone! You are the wonderful person who cares about others and truly wants to help. You are a wonderful listener and had wonderful ideas to share on how to accomplish my goals.

"Rhonda would affirm me, challenge me and help me set goals."

At the age of 62, I am an empty nester (mother of four adult children) who has the time to focus on specifics of health and fitness.  I regret not starting this lifestyle sooner, but Rhonda reminds me to be in the present and to not look back.

I enjoyed talking about a broad range of topics and even kept an ongoing list.  We talked about my job, yoga, our catholic faith, our growing children, recipes, our community and even current events.  Due to a presidential election and a pandemic, we had plenty to talk about.  Rhonda was good about keeping it about me.

I have learned I have some work to do.  I know I am a good wife and mother, but need to challenge myself to be a better catholic, cook and teacher.  I know how to spread kindness and how to brag about my children.  That comes easy.  Rhonda would affirm me, challenge me and help me set goals.

I looked forward to each of our sessions.  I have learned how important breathing is.
